Super League

In-line with the start of the 2020 season, Super League refreshed its branding with a new logo, two-way colour scheme, bold use of type and animation motion theory. Sky Sports had exclusive broadcast rights for the league and a decision was made to embrace their new branding, combining it with their own for a more coherent viewing experience. The sequence is a simple homage to the game and arena of rugby league, predominantly focused around the ball, pitch markings and goal posts, while using the new league typography and colourway as a texture treatment. Each of the twelve teams feature throughout the sequence, using badges and player photography, adopting both the league and broadcaster’s brand assets.
