Premier League 2017

With Sky Sports having rebranded its network and in doing so creating a dedicated channel for the Premier League, the whole suite of football programmes required a refresh. With a tight turnaround and an open brief, the sequence was produced from concept to delivery in 3 weeks.

Designed using the properties of the new look Sky Sports; consisting of bold (team) colours, embedded typography (using the new Sky Sports PL typeface) and hero imagery (in the shape of roto-scoped key player footage) the sequence leveraged the new brand collateral to provide a striking and dynamic title. The music track, ‘Found What I’ve Been Looking For’, performed by Tom Grennan, was re-cut with bespoke lyrics to better fit the subject.
